Common questions

FAQ

Are there per-booking transaction fees?

No. The 10% marketplace fee is on the farmer's hanging-weight meat line only — a buyer / farmer line, not a plant line. We do not take a cut of kill, cut, wrap, or bookings. Your subscription is the only thing you pay Protein Outfitters.

What if I cancel mid-month?

You keep your current tier through the end of the billing period, then drop to Free. No refunds for partial months — but no lock-in either.

What happens to my data if I downgrade?

Everything stays. You just lose access to the gated features (queue view, cut-sheet config, etc.). Re-upgrade anytime and pick right back up.

Do you offer a hardware bundle?

Yes — buy any Friesla MPU at $50k+ and we throw in 12 months of Standard. Talk to our hardware team.

Is there a discount for non-profits or new plants?

We review non-profit and early-plant discounts case-by-case — email mychal@proteinoutfitters.com. List prices are Standard $79/mo and Premium $199/mo (20% off annual).

Can I trial Premium?

Yep. 14-day free trial on either tier. No card-charged-after-trial surprises — we send a heads-up email two days before.
